Study Year in Cape Town

The Study Year programme is recommended for people who wish to do 24 weeks of English and more. It is also ideal for those who wish to enter a South African University or College.

You can take part either in the Standard, Standard-Plus, Intensive or Focus Study Course.

This programme has been developed to take care of the special needs of long term students:

At the end of every four-week cycle you complete a comprehensive test. This is to gauge your progress and to advise you on where to focus your study. A personal study advisor regularly meets with you to discuss progress and any changes into another course.

For Japanese and Korean students we offer councilors, who visit the school regularly and advise students in their home language.

Study Year students enjoy a number of advantages:
- The course fees are discounted by up to 40%.
- They do not pay an administration fee when changing to another course.
- Students can change between group courses at the beginning of each cycle for a minimum of four weeks.
- Study Year students receive University and College placement free of charge.
- Study Year students can take a break from their studies for 4 weeks after 24 weeks.
